save a picture without crashing.

After installing and entering licence code, I opened an existing scan, made a few small tweaks to the default settings and saved the picture in its original folder. (Which it did ask to overwrite, by the way.) The program crashed. Though the file appears to have saved. Not a good start. Too bad, the enhancement it did to the picture looked fine.
